Our Story

Safe in the Dark was born in February 2024 with one goal—make music that’s fun to create and even more fun to scream along to. Their debut single, You Were Blocked for a Reason, was just the beginning—a taste of the chaos, theatrics, and unfiltered energy they bring to the stage.

But the journey didn’t stop there. February 2025 marked a turning point. The band took full control of their destiny, going fully independent—because if there’s one thing Safe in the Dark believes in, it’s freedom. Freedom to be loud, weird, dramatic, and unapologetically themselves. Reforged and more determined than ever, they’re carving their own path with a sound that’s equal parts silly, spooky, and sexy.

Led by Parker Sims, Safe in the Dark found new strength when Nick Stout and Aaron Loya stepped in to help pick up the pieces, joining as the band’s guitarists. Together, they’re stronger than ever, driven by an unshakable need to burn brighter, play harder, and scream louder. The music keeps evolving, the sound keeps growing, and this? This is just the beginning.

Their first official gig hits February 22nd, 2025, and from here, there’s only one way forward—wilder, heavier, and with a whole lot more to come.
